In the third book of the Mortal Instruments, Clary and her friends go through many obstacles in life, while also having to face the monsters in the City of Glass. The city is home to some of the most ancestral homes of the Shadowhunters. Well, on this dangerous journey, Jace is overprotective of Clary, and doesn't want her to continue on the journey, because of the types of ways to die there. But once Clary disobeys, she meets new enemies that are more powerful, more evil. She needs to use her powers against them in the most focused way possible. The suspense builds on while she keeps going on. She sides with people, and arguments form. Without a team, there's little chance that she will survive in this horrid city.
