The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan

20100714193226!The_Lost_Hero_210.jpgIn this book, the theme of the book is mainly about Greek Gods. This time, there are 3 people that have their story mostly revolved around; Jason, Piper, and Leo. They all started out in a camp, where they found out that they were all demigods. Even though Piper knows Jason very well, Jason is so unfamiliar with everything, and the environment. When Jason, Piper, and Leo find out that Piper's dad and Hera are both held hostage somewhere, they act quickly and start on a quest for them. Many monsters and evil gods step in their way, but the three stick together and fight for themselves. They meet long lost friends on the way, and also relatives that they'd never think would be related to them. They find unexpected things happening, and will get to the bottom of them no matter how long it takes.

City of Glass by Cassandra Clare

city of glass.jpgIn the third book of the Mortal Instruments, Clary and her friends go through many obstacles in life, while also having to face the monsters in the City of Glass. The city is home to some of the most ancestral homes of the Shadowhunters. Well, on this dangerous journey, Jace is overprotective of Clary, and doesn't want her to continue on the journey, because of the types of ways to die there. But once Clary disobeys, she meets new enemies that are more powerful, more evil. She needs to use her powers against them in the most focused way possible. The suspense builds on while she keeps going on. She sides with people, and arguments form. Without a team, there's little chance that she will survive in this horrid city.

City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare

21212162.jpgCity of Ashes is the second book of the Mortal Instruments series. This book explains more about family relationships, friends, and trust. In this book, Clary and Jace mainly express their affection for each other, and reveal secrets that sound unreal. Clary has had rough times understanding the origin of where she came from ,and what her family is. Everyone has been telling her different stories about her family, and who she can or can't trust. Jace on the other hand, has been only told one thing, and he believed that for his whole life, until he goes to court, and there, he learns the truth about himself. In this book ,the relationships are huge, secrets that wouldn't have been heard of are spoken, and the truth may hurt many people. Sometimes, the truth may set people free, but on other times, it can trap a person in their own prison forever.

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

City+of+Bones.jpgCity of Bones is a very captivating and mysterious book, that really takes adventure to the next level. This is the first book of the Mortal Instruments series, and it is probably the best way to start off an amazing series. Clary Fray is a girl who is chosen to be a Shadowhunter, yet might be destined for evil. She has parents that are known for their good deeds and bad deeds in the world of Shadowhunters. Clary has to fight with her newly found friends, Jace, Alec, Isabelle, and Max to fight evil, and fight for the truth. Only one person stands in their way; Valentine. He is the main leader of evil and will do anything to stand in Clary's way of fighting for the truth. Clary and her friends will have to stand up  together, and fight for what is right.

Clarity by Kim Harrington

41ch8UKPr1L.jpgClarity is a really good book because Clare has multiple personalities and has many friends to support her. She is not a normal girl and her whole town doesn't believe her and her powers. Even though Clarity doesn't really care about what people think, the rumors sometimes get to her. She tries her best to avoid those situations, but she can't get the things people say out of her head. Tourists annoy her the most, and she doesn't approve of that. When she needs to solve a case to help uncover the murders that have been happening in the town, her powers need to be used for the good. Although she needs her powers for other things, she needs to focus on what needs to be done. Relationships in her family and her personal life affect her throughout the way, and may throw her off her game.
